Though I wish I could be a full-time blogger, gardener, crafter, etc. that is not the case, and  I do truly have a job I go to during the week. It’s not so bad really as I’ve worked with most of the people in my office for many more years than I’d like to admit here (it makes me feel kinda old).

I thought, once in a while, I’d share with you what I actually do at this office. Especially, if like today, I get to do something somewhat fun. My title here is Senior Designer & Marketing Coordinator. Sounds pretty serious, doesn’t it? Don’t be intimidated.

Our main office (which is the one I work in) just moved. A big move in the terms of we’d been in the last office space over 11 years, but a small move distance wise. We’re literally about 3 blocks from where we used to be. A seemingly short distance, but it seems like we’re worlds away since we’re downtown here. New restaurants, coffee shops, etc. are now closer for all of us to explore.

Today, I worked on a moving postcard for us to mail out to our clients. I came up with a variety of covers, but here are the two I’m swaying back and forth with – though they are very similar.

In case you’re wondering about our line of business here…it’s Traffic and Transportation Engineering (hence the cars in the above graphics).

The biggest difference in the two looks is in the printing really…and the emphasis on what stands out and is vibrant.

Any thoughts?
