Wordless Wednesday – Bubba’s Blessing

Last Monday there was a Pet Blessing at our church in honor of  St. Francis and his love for animals. Pops and I popped over to the church with Bubba on our morning walk so he could be blessed (which was great for my nerves seeing as we’d be leaving him to take our trip to the Grand Canyon soon after).

Here the boys are…post blessing – don’t they look like angels?

In an nutshell, the Catholic (me) and the Buddhist (Pops) took their Taoist (Bubba) for a blessing…to me that encompasses the beauty of the moment – and maybe, just maybe, how the world should be run.
