Yes, Life is GOOD – and very, very busy (both at home and at work)!!
For fun, this past weekend, we went down to the little central California town of Cayucos to see a movie showing of our friend Sam’s latest documentary.
What documentary you may ask? Well, this one:
Sam’s latest documentary tells the story of legendary Hawaiian big wave surfer Eddie Aikau. Just a hint, I’ve seen the movie a couple of times now and haven’t been able to keep the tears from welling up in my eyes even though I know what happens.
The weekend was also full of sunshine, beautiful beaches and visiting with some great friends that we haven’t seen in a while.
The sunsets were also amazing.
The movie was shown in the small town’s old car garage – a fabulous location to see a movie twinkle lights and all!
Of course, our favorite bulldog, Bubba, got to come and enjoy some beach time! The weather was gorgeous!
What a wonderful time we all had – seeing old friends, making new ones and enjoying a gorgeous weekend in Cayucos, California!
