Day at the Ranch

No, this isn't the type of "Ranch" you're thinking of. Though this one is a working ranch with cattle, etc. it's also a wonderful beach getaway spot. It's located along the central coast of California. When you arrive, the gorgeous scenery makes you feel like you're going back in time. We're fortunate to have friends who own houses there, and so happy they invited us to spend a couple of days there last weekend. Here's a typical day at the ranch:

After breakfast, the trucks are loaded with all the goodies for a day on the beach.

Then, we're off....

This is what the dogs do at the beach:

And this is what the kids do:(besides allowing me to follow them around with the camera)

Then the guys come in and goof off and put on crazy outfits:

After a day on the beach, we return to the ranch house for dinner, fun and music....
