My daughters – and how they looked when I met them over 16 years ago.
Yep, I’m a Stepmom. Not that huge, crooked nose with warts kind of Stepmom (at least I hope not – well my nose is a bit large), but I mean that incredibly lucky kind.
Being a Stepmom is special in that I chose to be here with them and for them for the rest of our lives – and they chose me too (or I wouldn’t be bragging about it). Their dad would love to take credit for all this choosing, and we’ll give him credit for being a small part of it. But the wonderful relationship I have with my girls today is all about the way the three of us created it to be.
As with any life, our family has had it’s ups and downs over the years, but I’m fortunate to say, in the mother/daughter area I’ve been lucky and it’s been all about LOVE!
