Here are some more recent cruise photos to share with you!!!
After our first stop in Nassau, our Princess Cruise ship stopped in St. Thomas and St. Maarten. This was in February, a perfect time of year to go to the Caribbean! This was Pops & my 5th cruise with Princess Cruise Lines and it was fabulous. Making the trip even better, my mom and Mimi also joined us for the week of cruising and Caribbean Island bliss.
We left out of the beautiful Florida port of Ft. Lauderdale. As you can see, the departure was gorgeous boding for a fabulous trip!
While I have tons of photos and videos to still go through, I wanted to post some of my favorite island shots and my recent video-making attempt using Final Cut Pro.
Welcome to St. Thomas!!
On St. Thomas, Pops & I rented a scooter to roam the island. It’s one of our favorite things to do when we visit a new place.
The day was absolutely fabulous and it was so much fun cruising near the water:
and also climbing up into the mountains:
We made a few “friends” along the way:
Next, we headed over to the other side of the island to Meagan’s Beach for a little rest from the scooter and of course some swimming in the beautiful warm, turquoise waters!
The next day, our ship docked in St. Maarten for a full beach fun day!!
This day also included some fun (and at times a little bit scary) jetski riding as you can see in the following video:
I’m learning Final Cut Pro and while I feel like my progress is moving along, there is always so much more to learn and so much more I know the program can do, but I haven’t figured out yet. I think this video came out pretty good though for my second video making attempt.
