Sometimes I struggle with how crazy, hectic and difficult life can be. Admittedly, I create all these issues and the stress and anxiety that come along with them. Honestly, my life is good. Better than good actually, it’s great. Though some days I lose sight of the simple philosophies I want to live by.
As a reminder, I have Bubba.
This little guy has the life. I feel like I can always hear him saying “People Please!” as he marvels at how difficult we all can make it be.
Upon observation, I think he’s broken life down into these simple steps:
1. Live in the Moment.
Bubba has the ability to go with us anywhere and just “be” there. He lives for the now.
2. Eat Well.
Bubba, unlike some other dogs (and most humans), truly only eats when he’s hungry.
3. Give love freely and often.
Bubba truly loves everyone. He’s always ready to give a snuggle and more than happy to take one too.
4. Get lots of exercise to keep you strong.
Most of Bubba’s exercise is when he plays, but shouldn’t it be fun?
5. Be adventurous.
Bubba’s always keeps an open mind ready to travel new paths he hasn’t been on before.
6. Get plenty of rest.
It sounds so easy, but sometimes, at least for me, the easiest things prove to be most difficult.
Hopefully, this little reminder will help you in your day or at the very least bring you a little smile.
~Lita

I love these pics. I have two pugs at home, and they also have the life. I need to take a page from their book, and just enjoy it.
Popping over from SITS 31DBB.
Bubba is beautiful and brilliant. We could all stand to remember a few Bubba-isms now and I again. I think I’m going to become a Bubbaist.
Love ya Bubba!

This truly put a smile on my face! I love this! Makes me think of my two pups running around the house now!
So true! Isabelle (my dog) has the same philosophies as your Bubba.
Add to this list:
* Forgiveness
* Not taking yourself to seriously
* Love yourself
I’m sure there are even more!
Great post and wonderful pics of your furry friend!!!
Bubba does seem to have it all figured out! People say that wisdom comes with age, but I don’t believe that. I’ve learned more from my children and pets than anyone else.
Stopped by from SITS! :) Have a great day.
I love this Lita and it is a great reminder to breathe and be…plus I love the Bubbs!
i love how you see the simple , but important things in life.
Bubba is my new best guru. Everybody else, move back one step in the queue please!
I could learn a lot from Bubba! Your pictures are beautiful. :)
Bubba – Buddha…notice the similarity ;-)
Love Bubba’s perspective!
Second doggy post I’ve come across today, he’s so cute and sounds a lot like our dog. There’s some pics of mine on my blog page or my flickr, He’s a Patterdale Terrier :D

That made me smile, our dog Mr. Bentley (Shih Tzu) sounds a lot like your Bubba. :) In many of our fast paced lifestyles it’s important to remember to enjoy each moment we have, and perhaps to slow down and not stress so much too. Bubba (and Lita) Thanks for the reminder! :)
I found your site via the Blog Frog Community. :) I’m enjoying it.
