WOW, did you even know this was happening?? Disney is remaking the “Beauty and the Beast” animated classic into a live-action film. This version is a re-telling of the movie we all fell in love with from the tale as old as time for a more modern audience. This version will stay true to the original music while updating the score and adding several new songs. How exciting is that?!?!?
The film stars Emma Watson as Belle (love); Dan Stevens as the Beast; Luke Evans as Gaston; Oscar® winner Kevin Kline as Maurice; Josh Gad as Lefou; Golden Globe® nominee Ewan McGregor as Lumiere; Oscar nominee Stanley Tucci as Maestro Cadenza; Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette; six-time Tony Award® winner Audra McDonald as Madame Garderobe; Oscar nominee Ian McKellen as Cogsworth; and two-time Academy Award® winner Emma Thompson as the teapot, Mrs. Potts (love, love, love!!!).
