This Saturday, November 26th is Small Business Saturday. Will you be out supporting the small businesses in your town? Did you know small businesses contribute to 55% of all jobs and 54% of all sales in the USA? Are you not living in or near a small town? That’s okay, you can just come on over to mine – Los Gatos, California!! We have plenty of precious stores, cafes and restaurants to fill your day with fun, food and holiday cheer.
We walk through our town every morning and I love watching all the window displays change with the seasons. Definitely, the holiday season decorations are my favorites! As you can imagine, I have taken lots and lots of photos of this gorgeous town. Here are a few of my favorite stores and restaurants to help motivate you to visit and see more.
Small Business Saturday – Los Gatos, CA
Phew! That’s a lot of places to visit and I haven’t even shown you all of them! It truly is a fabulous town to live in and I hope you can all visit some day!
I’m excited because this year, the Town of Los Gatos is having their first ever Holiday Stroll! On Sunday, December 11th from 11AM – 4PM everyone is encouraged to come and stroll our downtown and enjoy lots of fun activities for the whole family. I can’t wait to see all the town supporters out there!
Online Small Businesses
I know this time of year can be very hectic for everyone. Don’t despair if you don’t have the time to get out and shop, there are plenty of online small businesses that you can support too. Just head on over to Etsy to find unique gifts for everyone on your list.
As you all know, one of my favorite online gift shops is my dear friends Simon and Kelly’s shop Sassy Squirrel Ink. Right now, through the end of November, they’re giving away a free Festive Plaque worth $36.95 with EVERY order!!
It’s not possible to go wrong with one of their fabulous custom gifts!!
I hope everyone will take some time to support the small businesses in you area not just on Small Business Saturday but throughout the year.
