Gardenin’ Update

I’m truly having a hard time focusing right now with all the excitement and preparations being made for our upcoming trip to Cannes!! But I wanted to put up a little bit about what’s going on in the garden right now.

This past weekend I was finally able to get out there and, besides doing a ton of clean-up, I was able to actually get some little cuties into the ground -(no, not the mini orange cuties silly).

After clean-up the back area looked a bit better….well, a lot better actually..I’m too embarrassed to put up the “before” photo!

Here’s some of the veggies I was able to get in. I’m planting throughout the yard in-between whatever might be there especially throughout the rose garden area.

The Grow Boxes I ordered also came in, so I was able to put them together – which was super easy- and get my tomatoes planted in them. I’m really going to have to learn to can tomatoes this year if I have the boomin’ crop I’m hoping to have – gonna keep my fingers crossed!

Now, seriously, if I could only remember what these are????? See I am a bit pre-occupied with this trip swirling around in my head!!!

Maybe if I look through my seed packets I can figure this out. I have so many more seedlings to get started on. Maybe this weekend I’ll have time for that.

And just in case you think I was out there working in the yard all willy nilly, with no supervision, no worries, I wasn’t….my boss was out there to keep track of me (or catch rays, not sure which one he was primarily focused on). In fact, he probably knows what those little buds I planted are! I’ll have to ask him when I get home!
