I love Borax. Even though it says on the box “laundry booster”, I use it for much more cleaning than just in my laundry. Here’s a quick little tip to create a general household cleaner.
Mix 1 teaspoon of borax with 1 teaspoon of liquid soap, squeeze in one lemon and add 1 quart of warm water to create a solution that can be used for counters, sinks, refrigerators, etc.

Great tip, I’ve used borax in soapmaking and with a few cleaning products too. It can also be used to kill lice. I remember having a lice attack in my house several years ago. Our Maltese was playing with a stray cat. I thought it was oh so adorable… Anyway our Maltese trots back into our home, less than two days later lice, lice, and more lice…
I’ve never tried borax before, but have seen it listed as an ingredient in a lot of DIY recipes. Thanks for the tip!
Peace. ;)
I’ve just started using borax and I love it too! Borax and vinegar and you can pretty much clean everything.
