Summertime is about getting in all the travel you can! Am I right? And travel usually includes hotel stays. I don’t know about you, but at this point in life, I have certain criteria that a hotel must meet before I’ll stay there. Country Inn and Suites meets all the criteria I have for a more-than-comfortable stay.

If you want to visit The fabulous Bay Area (where I live), there’s The Country Inn & Suites By Carlson®, by the San Jose International Airport. (This is a hint to all my family members who have yet to visit me here in California!)

Staying near the San Jose Airport is not only easy, but there’s public transportation all around to take you anywhere in the Bay Area you need to go. From the Light Rail system for traveling around San Jose and the South Bay to the CalTrain taking you up to San Francisco to the Amtrak train station to take you, well, almost anywhere else. Your trip just opened up to endless destinations.

The Country Inn & Suites By Carlson®, San Jose International Airport, CA is accessible via a free shuttle (4-minute ride) from the airport. It’s close to downtown San Jose for any events you may be attending at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center. And don’t forget, you’re so close to 2 fabulous venues for sporting events – the SAP Center for NHL hockey or Levi’s Stadium for a 49er’s game.

Now, lets talk amenities. At the top of my list of amenities, of course, is free wifi!

Complimentary breakfast served daily would be near the top of Pop’s list.

And we both enjoy having accessibility to fitness centers and a pool to soak in after a long day touring around an area.

But, truly, comfortable beds and convenient locations are also super important!
