Ready for my June 2017 photo adventures and fun re-cap? We spent a lot of time in San Francisco this past June – which is always a good thing. Here are some of my favorite photos from special moments this past month.
San Francisco and Our Sondors Electric Bikes
We really enjoy taking our Sondors ebikes on our trips and riding in beautiful San Francisco was no exception!
More San Francisco Sightseeing
Of course, we also love to walk (and walk and walk and walk) around San Francisco whenever we visit. It’s one of the joys we have spending time there. Here are some photos taken during our roaming around in June.
San Francisco with Westly
Our oldest Grandson, Hunter, went on his first Scouting Camp trip to Hawaii this June! We were so happy for him, but it also meant we were able to have some fun with just our youngest Grandson (Westly) in San Francisco! I just love taking photos of him – I think you’ll see why!
We spent the early part of the day hiking along Land’s End – something Pops and I haven’t done before.
Then, we roamed down to China Beach to enjoy some sunshine near the water.
The next day, we dropped Westly off with Libby (our daughter/his Mom) at her office in San Francisco for her “bring-your-kid-to-work-day”.
Then Pops and I decided to drive home along the coast stopping to see the sites along the way. I haven’t taken the coast highway since before the tunnels were built at Devil’s Slide – which means it’s been a very long time! At Devil’s Slide they’ve made a new walking trail and it was fun to walk along this former section of Highway 1. As you can see, it was also another stunning day along the Northern California coastline!
Cars3 Screening with Westly
More fun was had in June with Westly when we got to screen the movie Cars3 together. We both absolutely LOVED the movie and highly recommend it!

June Concert Time at the Mountain Winery
We have a beautiful venue to see concerts not far from our house – The Mountain Winery in Saratoga, California. (Bonus, it is a winery too!) Our friend Al got us all tickets to see TajMo: The Taj Mahal & Keb’ Mo’ Band. It was a great show and a gorgeous Bay Area evening to be up in the hills.
June Bread Baking
Just so you don’t think I’m not keeping up with my passion for baking bread, here are a couple of photos of loaves I made in June.
It’s getting a bit too warm now (for me) to bake bread, so I may put the baking on hold until the Fall. Thankfully, we have the bread shop of a 3-Star Michelin Restaurant in our town – Manresa Bread. For the summer, I’ll buy (and study) their tasty loaves avoiding sweating through the baking process here at home.
Phew, that’s my June “catch-up”! I hope everyone had a fabulous June too!! Can you even believe it’s already July!!
