1. Recycle – simply take the time to do it especially if the bins are provided for you.
  2. Meatless Mondays – go meatless one day a week – a reason to try a new tasty recipe.
  3. Re-usable Bags – carry your own re-usable grocery bags. Keep them in your car so you always have them with you when you shop
  4. Use re-fillable Water Bottles. Probably we all need to drink more H2O. Get yourself a cute one so you’re more likely to carry it with you and stop wasting money buying the plastic bottles.
  5. Buy Local – take advantage of the wonderful farmer’s markets in your area.
  6. Start a Garden – even a small container garden can be a thrill if you don’t have a lot of room. Not only will you be amazed at what you can grow, you can relieve some stress while doing it.
  7. Stop Buying Paper Napkins – I had so many beautiful sets of linens just sitting in drawers, now I use them and it makes my table and meals that much more beautiful.
  8. Read Labels – try to buy items as close to their “whole” source as possible.
  9. Use Transit – If you have public transportation in your area, take advantage of it even one day a week or walk and get a health boost too.
  10. Power Down – take time to turn off the gadgets and possibly the mindless t.v. and see how your creative mind will evolve.
