I thought I’d share a little re-cap of things that happened here in my world this past month. You’ve possibly seen some of these shots on my other social media channels (especially Snapchat). As it turns out, every month, I have lots of blog post ideas that I just don’t have the time to write-up. So, as an August re-cap, I’m going to try to share some of the fun you may have missed seeing.

This year, I attended the BlogHer Conference in Los Angeles and had my good buddy Nia Peeples join me. What a FUN, FUN, FUN time we had learning, meeting people and basically just being silly girls entering every selfie contest we could find!
One of my favorite special events from this year’s conference was the GoRVing event where we got to learn about (and see inside) some fabulous RV campers. My travel desires have now expanded exponentially!
Honestly, I think I could live in one of these little RVs it was so very comfortable!
The BEST part of the GoRVing event though was meeting Janine Pettit of the Girl Camper Podcasts and the GirlCamper website.!! You know when you meet someone and just simply KNOW you will have a friendship with them the rest of your life?!? Well, that is exactly how I felt meeting and chatting with Janine.
San Francisco Fun
Yep, we had another fun-filled trip up to San Francisco this month too. A quick trip, but that is all it takes because pretty much anything you do up in the City is FABULOUS!! This time we took our Urban Hike up from the Marina area, through Presidio Heights and the Presidio.
Of course, we had a blast on Haight Street too first stopping for one of our favorite vegan burgers at VeganBurg and then a little shopping fun.
AND we even got some vegan ice cream at the Ben and Jerry’s on the corner of Haight and Ashbury!

Home Life
I’m not much for intense cooking in the summer months, and even though we haven’t had a super heated summer here in our town, I’m still enjoying the slightly cooling trend that is bringing on FALL!! This cooler weather has given me the motivation to get into the kitchen and I’ve already made my first veggie lasagna in quite some time!
I’m almost ready to start my weekly soups and breads too….almost!
Little Bubba’s stroller is finally fixed and he couldn’t be happier that he can join us now for longer walks!
The little King of Los Gatos is back!
The critter feeding station outside our bedroom window is still going strong!
AND, as I hope is true in your home’s too, there’s always lots of fun and laughter going on in this house….
The best part of my day is seeing this view at the end of it. These boys always bring joy to my heart.
I hope everyone had a great August this year and for all those doing the back-to-school thing I hope transition was a smooth one!
